Here it is… public for the first time.

This is the initial briefing document that we submitted to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in an attempt to kick start the bid process. Unfortunately, Canada didn’t submit the necessary bid intention letter to the BIE, the organizing entity for World Expos. The rest is history.

The reasons why are many — some good, others not so.

Regardless, we’re making the brief public to showcase the incredible thinking that many Canadians from many walks of life put into the effort. That thinking lives on in many quiet initiatives that continue to percolate in the civic space, and we’re immensely proud to have been part of catalyzing and inspiring action.
